Observing the javelin coming towards him, Lakshmana, the delight of Raghus and enhancer of Sumithra's joy, split it into ten pieces, which had fallen on the ground.
Protection of the righteous side through skill and vigilance: Lakṣmaṇa embodies disciplined strength used defensively—neutralizing danger without panic.
Indrajit’s hurled javelin is intercepted mid-flight by Lakṣmaṇa, who fragments it before it can strike.
Alertness and mastery (samyak-prayoga): precise, controlled use of force in a crisis.
