Indrajit and Lakshmana: War-Boasts, Rebuke, and the Clash
अद्यमत्कार्मुकोत्सृष्टंशरवर्षंदुरासदम् ।।।।मुक्तंवर्षमिवाकाशेवारयिष्यथसंयुगे ।
adya matkārmukotsṛṣṭaṃ śaravarṣaṃ durāsadam |
muktaṃ varṣam ivākāśe vārayiṣyatha saṃyuge ||
«Heute werdet ihr im Kampf den schwer abzuwehrenden Pfeilregen, den ich von meinem Bogen entsende, nicht aufhalten können — wie Regen, der vom Himmel losbricht.»
