युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

तंक्षिप्रतरमाफ्लुत्यपरामृश्याङ्गदोबली ।करेणतस्यतंखङ्गंसमाच्छिद्यननाद च ।।।।
taṃ kṣiprataram āphlutya parāmṛśyāṅgado balī |
kareṇa tasya taṃ khaṅgaṃ samācchidya nanāda ca ||
Der mächtige Angada sprang blitzschnell auf, packte ihn, riss ihm mit der Hand das Schwert weg und brüllte laut auf.
Mighty Angada springing up at a higher speed grasped his (Sonitaksha) hand and irritated him with a sword making loud noise.
