Da schlug Aṅgada sein Schwert in die breite Schulterplatte des Feindes; und jener Elefant unter den Affen spaltete ihn, als folge er der Linie der heiligen Schnur.
Then Angada pierced his sword on the fl at surface of his shoulder diagonally and cut him with his sword.
Within the frame of righteous war, it presents disciplined, direct engagement—skill employed decisively rather than cruelty for its own sake.
Aṅgada lands a powerful, precise sword-blow in his fight, described with a vivid simile (like the line of a sacred thread).
Kauśala (martial proficiency) joined to courage: Aṅgada’s strike is both forceful and expertly placed.
