युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः
Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva
ततःकुम्भंसमुत्क्षिप्यसुग्रीवोलवणाम्भसि ।पातयामासवेगेनदर्शयन्नुदधेस्तलम् ।।।।
tataḥ kumbhaṃ samutkṣipya sugrīvo lavaṇāmbhasi |
pātayāmāsa vegena darśayann udadhes talam ||
Dann hob Sugrīva Kumbha empor und schleuderte ihn mit Wucht ins salzige Meer, als wolle er ihm den Grund des Ozeans selbst zeigen.
Then Sugriva lifted Kumbha and threw him into the ocean quickly, to show him the bottom.
