त्रिशिरा-प्रबोधनम् तथा नरान्तक-वधः
Trisira’s Counsel and the Slaying of Naranthaka
न शेकुर्भाषितुंवीरा न स्थातुंस्पन्दितुंभयात् ।उत्पतन्तंस्थितंयान्तंसर्वान्विव्याधवीर्यवान् ।।।।
na śekur bhāṣituṃ vīrā na sthātuṃ spandituṃ bhayāt |
utpatantaṃ sthitaṃ yāntaṃ sarvān vivyādha vīryavān ||6.69.74||
Vor Furcht vermochten die tapferen Vānara weder zu sprechen noch zu stehen noch sich auch nur zu regen; und der kraftvolle Held durchbohrte sie alle—ob sie sprangen, stillstanden oder voranstürmten.
The gallant monkeys got terrified and could not flee, nor stand, nor move. The audacious Naranthaka marching ahead pierced the Vanaras either marching or jumping or stationary.
