कुम्भकर्णप्रस्थानम्

Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle

एवमुक्त्वामहातेजाःकुम्भकर्णंमहाबलम् ।पुनर्जातमिवात्मानंमेनेराक्षसपुङ्गवः ।।।।

evam uktvā mahātejāḥ kumbhakarṇaṃ mahābalam |

punarjātam ivātmānaṃ mene rākṣasapuṅgavaḥ ||

Nachdem er so zum mächtigen Kumbhakarṇa gesprochen hatte, wähnte sich der strahlende Anführer der Rākṣasas, als sei er selbst neu geboren.
