Als Rāma sah, wie das Heer in die Flucht geriet und ein Rākṣasa zu riesenhafter Gestalt anschwoll, sprach er, voll Staunen, zu Vibhīṣaṇa.
The monkeys desiring to be triumphant, took trees and began to strike at the enemies on hearing Rama's control.
Dharma here is discernment in leadership: when faced with sudden fear and a new threat, Rāma does not react blindly but seeks informed counsel from one who knows the enemy.
On the battlefield near Laṅkā, the vānaras are seen scattering, while a rākṣasa appears to be growing huge—prompting Rāma to question Vibhīṣaṇa.
Rāma’s steadiness and strategic prudence—calm inquiry and reliance on truthful intelligence rather than panic.
