Als Daśagrīva den bewusstlos gefallenen Vānara sah, stürmte er, kampfbegierig, in seinem Wagen auf Saumitrī zu, dröhnend wie Gewitterwolken.
Finding the vanara unconscious the ten headed Ravana who was eager to fight went towards Saumithri in the chariot making sounds that resembled the sound of rattling of clouds.
It highlights the shifting duties in war: when one opponent falls, the aggressor seeks the next threat; dharma in battle includes vigilance and protection of key defenders.
After Nīla is rendered unconscious, Rāvaṇa turns his assault toward Lakṣmaṇa.
For Rāvaṇa, relentless aggression and battle-zeal; for the defending side, the implied need for alert guardianship.
