युद्धकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः

Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma

विसर्जयित्वासचिवांस्ततस्तान्गतेषुरक्षस्सुयथानियोगम् ।व्यचारयद्वानरसागरौघंमहाझषःपूर्णमिवार्णवौघम् ।।6.59.35।।

visarjayitvā sacivāṃs tatas tān gateṣu rakṣaḥsu yathāniyogam | vyacārayad vānarasāgaraughaṃ mahājhaṣaḥ pūrṇam ivārṇavaugham ||6.59.35||

Nachdem er jene Ratgeber entlassen hatte und die Rākṣasas gemäß dem Befehl ihre Posten bezogen hatten, bewegte sich Rāvaṇa durch den gewaltigen „Ozean“ der Vānaras — wie ein großer Fisch, der die anschwellende See durchschneidet.
