Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma

राघवस्यवचश्श्रुत्वाराक्षसेन्द्रोमहाबलः ।वायुपुत्रंमहावेगंवहन्तंराघवंरणे ।।6.59.133।।रोषेणमहताविष्टःपूर्ववैरमनुस्मरन् ।आजघानशरैर्दीप्स्सैःकालानलशिखोपमैः ।।6.59.134।।

rāghavasya vacaḥ śrutvā rākṣasendro mahābalaḥ | vāyuputraṁ mahāvegaṁ vahantaṁ rāghavaṁ raṇe ||6.59.133||

roṣeṇa mahatāviṣṭaḥ pūrvavairam anusmaran | ājaghāna śarair dīptaiḥ kālānalaśikhopamaiḥ ||6.59.134||

Als der mächtige Herr der Rākṣasas die Worte Rāghavas vernahm, von gewaltigem Zorn ergriffen und der früheren Feindschaft eingedenk, schoss er lodernde Pfeile, den Flammen des Weltenbrandes gleich, auf den schnellen Sohn des Vāyu, der Rāghava in der Schlacht trug.
