युद्धकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः

यश्चैवशक्त्याभिहतस्त्वयाऽद्यइच्छन्विषादंसहसाभ्युपेत्य ।सएषरक्षोगणराजमृत्युःसपुत्रपौत्रस्यतवाद्ययुद्धे ।।6.59.131।।
yaś caiva śaktyābhihatas tvayā ’dya icchan viṣādaṁ sahasābhyupetya | sa eṣa rakṣogaṇarājamṛtyuḥ sa putrapautrasya tavādya yuddhe ||6.59.131||
Und der, den du heute mit der śakti-Waffe getroffen hast — obgleich er nur sein Leid beenden wollte — ist sogleich herangestürzt: hier steht er als Tod für dich, o König der Rākṣasa-Heerscharen, und für deine Söhne und Enkel in diesem Kampf.
