Da Leben, Glanz, Kraft und Sinne geschwunden waren, fiel er plötzlich zur Erde wie ein an der Wurzel gefällter Baum.
Life, splendour, strength, and senses departed Prahastha fell instantly on the ground like a tree cut at the bottom.
It underscores impermanence and accountability: power and splendor are transient, and adharma-driven might collapses abruptly—like a tree severed at its root.
After the crushing blow, Prahasta’s life-force departs and he falls instantly to the ground.
The verse emphasizes not a personal virtue but a moral insight: humility before mortality and the limits of brute force.
