Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond
भवत्प्रसादाद् व्यसनंरावणिप्रभवंमहत् ।आवामिहव्यतिक्रान्तौपूर्ववद् बलिनौकृतौ ।।6.50.42।।
bhavatprasādād vyasanaṃ rāvaṇiprabhavaṃ mahat |
āvām iha vyatikrāntau pūrvavad balinau kṛtau ||6.50.42||
„Durch deine gnädige Gunst haben wir hier dieses große Unheil, das vom Sohn Rāvaṇas ausging, überwunden und sind wieder zu unserer früheren Stärke gelangt.“
"By your kindness, we have overcome this calamity caused by Ravana's son and regained our strength as before."
Kṛtajñatā (gratitude): acknowledging assistance truthfully is a dharmic duty, especially after deliverance from suffering.
