Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond
तावुत्थाप्यमहातेजागरुडोवासवोपमौ ।उभौतौसस्वजेहृष्टोरामश्चैनमुवाचह ।।6.50.41।।
tāv utthāpya mahātejā garuḍo vāsavopamau |
ubhau tau sasvaje hṛṣṭo rāmaś cainam uvāca ha ||6.50.41||
Dann richtete der strahlende Garuḍa die beiden Fürsten auf, die an Glanz Vasava (Indra) glichen; voll Freude umarmte er beide, und Rāma sprach zu ihm.
Raising up both the princes who were extraordinarily brilliant and equalled Indra, Garuda embraced Rama joyfully and thus spoke.
Gratitude and honoring benefactors: dharma includes acknowledging help received and responding with respectful speech and conduct.
Garuḍa physically lifts and embraces the freed princes; the scene transitions to Rāma’s words of thanks.
