सेनानिवेशः रामविलापश्च
Encampment on the Northern Shore; Rama’s Lament and Sandhyā
अवगाह्यर्णवंस्वप्स्येसौमित्रेभवताविना ।कथञ्चित्प्रज्वलन्कामस्समांसुप्तंजलेदहेत् ।।।।
avagāhya arṇavaṃ svapsye saumitre bhavatā vinā | kathañcit prajvalan kāmas māṃ suptaṃ jale dahet ||6.5.9||
O Saumitri, ohne dich werde ich in den Ozean hinabtauchen und dort ruhen; vielleicht wird dann der lodernde Gott der Begierde mich nicht verbrennen, während ich im Wasser schlafe.
O Saumitri! Plunging into water alone I will lie down. Probably then the god of love will not be able to consume me while sleeping.
