सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च

Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation

ऊचुर्लक्षणिकायेमांपुत्रिण्यविधवेतिच ।तेऽद्यसर्वेहतेरामेज्ञानिनोऽनृतवादिनः ।।।।

ūcur lakṣaṇikā emāṁ putriṇīm avidhaveti ca | te 'dya sarve hate rāme jñānino 'nṛtavādinaḥ ||

Die Wahrsager sagten von mir: „Sie wird Söhne gebären; sie wird keine Witwe werden.“ Doch wenn Rāma heute erschlagen ist, dann haben sich all jene „Weisen“ als Lügenredner erwiesen.
