सरमायाḥ सीतासान्त्वनम् तथा रावणनिश्चयश्रवणम्
Saarana Consoles Sita and Reports Ravana’s Resolve
मत्प्रियंयदिकर्तव्यंयदिबुद्धि: स्थिरातव ।ज्ञातुमिच्छामितंगत्वाकिंकरोतीतिरावणः ।।।।
matpriyaṃ yadi kartavyaṃ yadi buddhiḥ sthirā tava |
jñātum icchāmi taṃ gatvā kiṃ karotīti rāvaṇaḥ ||
Wenn du wirklich tun willst, was mir lieb ist, und wenn dein Entschluss fest steht, dann geh und erkunde, was Rāvaṇa jetzt tut; ich möchte es wissen.
