Unerschrocken, stark und heldenhaft, fest in eigener Manneskraft; um Rāma zu erfreuen, kennt jener Vānara kein Erbarmen, nicht einmal mit dem eigenen Leben.
"He is indomitable, strong and heroic. He will not give up his virility. For the pleasure of Rama, he will not feel pity for his life (he will give up his life)."
It frames righteous warfare as duty carried with self-offering: loyalty to a just cause (Rāma’s mission) is valued above attachment to one’s own survival.
A particular warrior’s temperament is being described to Rāvaṇa: he is resolute and willing to risk life itself for Rāma’s objective in the coming battle.
Tyāga (readiness to sacrifice) combined with steadfastness (vyavasthitaḥ) and courage (vikrānta, śūra).
