वानर-ऋक्ष-सेना-प्रशंसा

यस्यविक्रममाणस्यशक्रस्येवपराक्रमः ।एषगन्धर्वकन्यायामुत्पन्नःकृष्णवर्त्मनः ।।।।तदादेवासुरेयुद्धेसाह्यार्थंत्रिदिवौकसाम्

yasya vikramamāṇasya śakrasyeva parākramaḥ |

eṣa gandharva-kanyāyām utpannaḥ kṛṣṇa-vartmanaḥ ||6.27.20||

tadā devāsure yuddhe sāhyārthaṃ tridivaukasām

Wenn er in Tapferkeit voranschreitet, gleicht seine Kraft der des Śakra selbst. Er wurde von einer Gandharva-Jungfrau durch Kṛṣṇavartman geboren; und im uralten Krieg der Devas und Asuras erhob er sich, um den Bewohnern des Himmels beizustehen.
