सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge

समुद्रंक्षोभयामासुर्वानराश्चस्समन्ततः ।सूत्राण्यन्येप्रगृह्णान्तिव्यायतंशतयोजनम् ।।।।

samudraṃ kṣobhayāmāsur vānarāś ca samantataḥ |

sūtrāṇy anye pragṛhṇanti vyāyataṃ śatayojanam ||

Die vānaras wühlten den Ozean ringsum auf; andere hielten Messschnüre, über hundert Yojanas gespannt, damit das Werk ausgerichtet und eben bleibe.
