सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
तस्यतद्वचनंश्रुत्वासागरस्यराघवः ।मुमोचतंशरंदीप्तंवीरस्सागरदर्शनात् ।।।।
tasya tad-vacanaṃ śrutvā sāgarasya rāghavaḥ | mumoca taṃ śaraṃ dīptaṃ vīraḥ sāgara-darśanāt ||
Als Rāghava die Worte des Ozeans vernahm, ließ der Held den lodernden Pfeil los, wandte ihn vom Meer ab und richtete ihn auf das bezeichnete Ziel.
On hearing the words of the request of Sagara and on account of seeing him, Rama let off the supreme arrow glowing (on the marauders).
