FAQs

Dharma channels force toward a rightful locus. The Ocean proposes a specific place, implying that power should be grounded in discernment rather than unleashed blindly.

The Ocean advises Rāma where to direct the already-readied, unfailing arrow—toward a northern region called Drumakulyā.

Practical wisdom (nīti): the Ocean offers a concrete, ethically safer alternative to harming the sea itself.
