Rama’s Vigil at the Ocean and the Rise of Wrath
सशङ्खशुक्तिजालंसमीनमकरंतथा ।अद्ययुद्धेनमहतासमुद्रंपरिशोषये ।।6.21.19।।

„Heute werde ich durch diesen gewaltigen Angriff den Ozean austrocknen—mitsamt seinen Scharen von Muscheln und Schnecken, und ebenso mit seinen Fischen und Makara-Wesen.“
"I shall make the ocean dry up with its shells and conchs, fishes and crocodiles in this great combat."
Dharma here is framed as enforcing cooperation for a just cause; the verse also invites reflection on proportionality—how far power may go when righteous aims face obstruction.
Rāma issues a forceful ultimatum: if the ocean will not yield a passage, he will devastate it with his power.
Determination to uphold the mission (dharma-driven purpose), coupled with formidable martial capability.
