Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
Vibheeshana, having addressed Ravana in harsh language, reached Rama and Lakshmana in a short while.
Dharma is shown as choosing righteousness over destructive allegiance: Vibhīṣaṇa’s movement toward Rāma symbolizes turning to the moral center after rejecting adharma.
This verse reiterates the transition: Vibhīṣaṇa leaves Rāvaṇa after harsh admonition and reaches Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa swiftly.
Resolve (dṛḍha-niścaya) and integrity—acting in accordance with one’s ethical judgment, not merely speaking it.
