Vibheeshana, having addressed Ravana in harsh language, reached Rama and Lakshmana in a short while.
Although Vibhishana spoke the truth (Satya) regarding Dharma, it was perceived as harsh by Ravana because it directly challenged his ego and unrighteous actions.
It signifies the decisiveness of Vibhishana. Once he realized Ravana was committed to Adharma, he wasted no time in seeking refuge with Rama, illustrating the urgency of choosing Dharma.
