So sprach er hart zu Rāvaṇa, und sein jüngerer Bruder Vibhīṣaṇa eilte zu dem Ort, wo Rāma mit Lakṣmaṇa stand.
Vibheeshana, having addressed Ravana in harsh language, reached Rama and Lakshmana in a short while.
The verse highlights choosing dharma over loyalty to wrongdoing: Vibhīṣaṇa breaks from Rāvaṇa’s adharma and moves toward Rāma, who represents righteous rule grounded in satya.
After rebuking Rāvaṇa with strong words, Vibhīṣaṇa departs Laṅkā’s side and quickly approaches Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa in the opposing camp.
Moral courage and truthfulness: Vibhīṣaṇa acts on conviction, prioritizing righteous alignment over fear or familial attachment.
