Vibhīṣaṇa’s Counsel to Rāvaṇa and the Rākṣasa Court
"Before the monkeys of mountain like form whose teeth and claws are like weapons reach Lanka, give away Mythili to Rama."
Dharma-aligned counsel requires honesty about capability and consequence; self-deception in leadership leads to collective ruin.
Vibhīṣaṇa enumerates Laṅkā’s champions and asserts they cannot withstand Rāma, urging Rāvaṇa to abandon the wrongful course.
Truthful discernment (viveka) and loyalty to the kingdom’s welfare over factional pride.
