Agni’s Testimony and Sītā’s Revalidation
नैववाचा न मनसानैवबुद्ध्या न चक्षुषा ।सुवृत्तावृत्तशौण्डीरन त्वामत्यचरच्छुभा ।।।।
naiva vācā na manasā naiva buddhyā na cakṣuṣā |
suvṛttā vṛttaśauṇḍīra na tvām atyacarac chubhā ||
„Weder durch Wort noch durch Geist, weder durch Einsicht noch durch Blick hat die glückverheißende, tugendhafte Sītā gegen dich gefehlt, o Held, der fest in rechter Lebensführung steht.“
Illustrious Raghava, endowed with mighty prowess, who deserved happiness, spoke like this to all for the service rendered.
