Rama-Stava: Brahma Reveals Rama’s Nārāyaṇa Identity
सीतालक्ष्मीर्भवान् विष्णुर्देवःकृष्णःप्रजापतिः ।।।।वधार्थंरावणस्येहप्रविष्टोमानुषींतनुम् ।
sītā lakṣmīr bhavān viṣṇur devaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ prajāpatiḥ | vadhārthaṃ rāvaṇasyeha praviṣṭo mānuṣīṃ tanum ||
Sītā ist Lakṣmī, und du bist Viṣṇu — ja, der göttliche Kṛṣṇa, der Herr der Geschöpfe. Um Rāvaṇa zu töten, bist du hier in einen menschlichen Leib eingegangen.
"Sita is goddess Lakshmi while you are Vishnu. You are Krishna. You are the Lord of created beings. In order to put an end to Ravana, you entered the mortal body on earth."
When adharma becomes oppressive, the highest protection of dharma may require deliberate intervention for the welfare of beings.
Brahmā explicitly identifies Rāma’s divine identity and the purpose of his human incarnation: Rāvaṇa’s destruction.
Compassionate responsibility—accepting limitation (human form) to accomplish protection of the world.
