When mighty Rama lifted up that javelin, it rendered sonorous sounds of bells and lit up the sky like a meteor at the end of the universal dissolution.
Dharma frames power as instrumental, not ornamental: a radiant weapon is meaningful only insofar as it serves protection of the righteous order and the defeat of adharma.
Rāma raises the divine javelin; its sound and brilliance are described as it prepares to be used against the trident.
Tejas (splendor/inner potency) disciplined by purpose—strength that is controlled and directed toward a just end.
