भ्रातरंनिहतंदृष्टवारावणेनदुरात्मना ।विष्टनन्तंतुदुःखार्तंमर्मण्यभिहतंभृशम् ।।।।
bhrātaraṃ nihataṃ dṛṣṭvā rāvaṇena durātmanā |
viṣṭanantaṃ tu duḥkhārtaṃ marmaṇy abhihataṃ bhṛśam ||
Als Rāma seinen Bruder sah, von dem bösgesinnten Rāvaṇa niedergestreckt—an lebenswichtigen Stellen schwer verwundet und vor Schmerz sich windend—wurde er von Kummer überwältigt.
