Whatever wealth was possessed by Vaisravana (Kubera, the son of sage Vishrava) and also Indra who rides the Ucchaisrava green horse, was there in the palace of Ravana.
The verse shows that external excellence (birth, beauty, refinement) does not by itself establish dharma; moral worth depends on righteous conduct—setting up the contrast that even amid such splendor, adharma can occur (as with Sītā).
The narration describes the qualities of the women in Rāvaṇa’s household as Hanumān observes them.
Analytical observation: Hanumān notes details precisely, supporting his later moral conclusion about Sītā’s distinct situation.
