अभिज्ञानवृत्तान्त-प्रत्यायनम्
Token of Recognition and the Crow–Brahmāstra Episode
त्वच्छोकविमुखो रामो देवि सत्येन ते शपे।।।।रामे दुःखाभिभूते तु लक्ष्मणः परितप्यते।
tvacchokavimukho rāmo devi satyena te śape |
rāme duḥkhābhibhūte tu lakṣmaṇaḥ paritapyate ||
O Herrin, ich schwöre dir bei der Wahrheit selbst: Rāma, von allem abgewandt durch den Kummer um dich, ist ganz von Schmerz verzehrt; und auch Lakṣmaṇa brennt vor Qual, wenn er Rāma vom Leid überwältigt sieht.
'O divine lady! I swear to you on my truthfulness, that out of grief for you Rama is not interested in anything else and Lakshmana is deeply afflicted because Rama is overhelmed with grief.
