विविधाभ्रघनापन्नगोचरो धवलाम्बरः।दृश्यादृश्यतनुर्वीरस्तदा चन्द्रायतेऽम्बरे।।।।

Transliteration

vividhābhra-ghana-āpanna-gocaro dhavalāmbaraḥ |

dṛśyādṛśya-tanur vīras tadā candrāyate ’mbare ||

Translation

Im hellweißen Himmel, durch dichte und vielfältige Wolkenmassen schreitend, erschien der Held — bald sichtbar, bald unsichtbar — da wie der Mond am Firmament.
