Rāma, der Beste der Menschen, bleibt immer wach; und selbst wenn er einschläft, erwacht er wieder, indem er mit süßer Stimme leise spricht: „Sītā.“
"Rama, the best of men never goes to sleep and even if he drops off to sleep he mutters 'Sita, Sita!' in a sweet voice in his sleep.
Single-minded fidelity (pativratā/patnīvrata ideal in reverse): Rāma’s unwavering commitment to Sītā reflects dharmic constancy and moral responsibility toward one’s spouse.
Hanumān consoles Sītā in Laṅkā by describing Rāma’s intense longing and constant remembrance of her.
Rāma’s steadfast devotion and self-control—his mind does not turn away from Sītā even in sleep.
