Hanuman Enters Lanka and Encounters Laṅkā-devatā
द्रक्ष्यामि नगरीं लङ्कां साट्टप्राकारतोरणाम्।निर्विशङ्कमिमंलोकं पश्यन्त्यास्तवसांप्रतम्।इत्यर्थमिह संप्राप्तः परं कौतूहलं हि मे।।।।
drakṣyāmi nagarīṃ laṅkāṃ sāṭṭa-prākāra-toraṇām | nirviśaṅkam imaṃ lokaṃ paśyantyās tava sāṃpratam | ity-artham iha saṃprāptaḥ paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi me ||
Ich wünsche die Stadt Laṅkā zu sehen, mit ihren Märkten, Wehrmauern und Toren, während du zusiehst—ohne Furcht. Zu diesem Zweck bin ich hierher gekommen; wahrlich, groß ist meine Neugier.
