"O Trijata, tell us the kind of dream you dreamt last night", they insisted. Hearing the words from the mouth of the she-demons, Trijata told them all about her dream.
Right speech includes timeliness and truth: Trijaṭā speaks “in due time,” suggesting disciplined communication aligned with truth (satya) rather than impulsive reaction.
The rākṣasīs press Trijaṭā to describe her dream; she prepares to narrate it in detail.
Trijaṭā’s restraint and clarity in speech—an ethical counterpoint to the rākṣasīs’ volatile emotions.
