Trijata’s Dream-Omens and the Rakshasis’ Reversal
भर्त्सितामपि याचध्वं राक्षस्यः किं विवक्षया।।5.27.43।।राघवाद्धि भयं घोरं राक्षसानामुपस्थितम्।
bhartsitām api yācadhvaṃ rākṣasyaḥ kiṃ vivakṣayā | rāghavād dhi bhayaṃ ghoraṃ rākṣasānām upasthitam ||5.27.43||
O Rākṣasīs, selbst wenn ihr sie bedroht habt, bittet sie jetzt — wozu zögern? Denn von Rāghava her ist eine furchtbare Angst über die Rākṣasas gekommen.
"O demonesses beg her (pardon) now even though you had threatened her earlier. Where is the need to hesitate? There is cause for concern for demons from Rama.
