Sita’s Lament and Prophecy of Lanka’s Ruin
न हि मे जीवितेनार्थो नैवार्थेर्न च भूषणैः।वसन्त्या राक्षसीमध्ये विना रामं महारथम्।।।।
na hi me jīvitena artho naivārthair na ca bhūṣaṇaiḥ | vasantyā rākṣasīmadhye vinā rāmaṃ mahāratham ||
Ohne Rāma, den großen Wagenkämpfer, welchen Wert hat mir das Leben, da ich unter den rākṣasīs weile? Weder Reichtum noch Schmuck begehre ich.
