द्वादशः सर्गः — हनूमतः अन्तःपुरविचयः
Hanuman’s Search Through Ravana’s Inner Apartments
राक्षस्यो विविधाकारा विरूपा विकृतास्तथा।दृष्टा हनुमता तत्र न तु सा जनकात्मजा।।।।
rākṣasyo vividhākārā virūpā vikṛtās tathā |
dṛṣṭā hanumatā tatra na tu sā janakātmajā ||
Dort sah Hanumān Rākṣasī von vielerlei Gestalt, hässlich und entstellt; doch die Tochter Janakas sah er nicht.
Hanuman could see only ogresses of different types-ugly, deformed but could not find the daughter of Janaka.
