समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
रामस्यैष हितायैव याति दाशरथेर्हरिः।सत्क्रियां कुर्वता तस्य तोषितोऽस्मि दृढं त्वया।।।।
rāmasyaiṣa hitāyaiva yāti dāśarather hariḥ | satkriyāṃ kurvatā tasya toṣito ’smi dṛḍhaṃ tvayā ||
Dieser Vānara zieht einzig zum Wohle Rāmas, des Sohnes Daśarathas. Indem du ihn mit gebührender Ehrung und rechter Gastfreundschaft empfangen hast, hast du mich wahrlich tief erfreut.
"The vanara has gone on a mission to help the son of Dasaratha. I am highly pleased with the service rendered to him.
Dharma teaches respect toward those acting for a righteous cause: honoring a dharmic envoy is honoring the dharmic mission itself.
Indra clarifies that Hanumān’s journey is for Rāma’s good and commends the mountain for receiving/supporting him properly.
