समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
ततोऽहं मानयामि त्वां मान्यो हि मम मारुतः।त्वया मे ह्येष सम्बन्धः कपिमुख्य महागुणः।।।।
tato ’haṃ mānayāmi tvāṃ mānyo hi mama mārutaḥ |
tvayā me hy eṣa sambandhaḥ kapimukhya mahāguṇaḥ ||
Darum ehre ich dich, denn Māruta ist meiner Verehrung würdig; und durch dich, o Fürst der Affen, habe ich dieses edle Band, reich an Tugend.
