In diesem Gedicht wird kein einziges Wort von dir unwahr sein. Verfasse die heilige Erzählung von Rāma, lieblich und in Ślokas gebunden.
The incidents pertaining to sagacious Rama together with Lakshmana, Sita, Bharata, etc. and the rakshasas their deeds, thoughts, unknown or known to everybody and even not known to you, will be revealed to you by my grace.
Satya is explicitly guaranteed: the Ramāyaṇa is to be a truthful account, making truthfulness a foundational dharma of sacred narration.
Brahmā blesses Vālmīki’s composition, assuring its truth and instructing him to craft Rāma’s sacred story in śloka form.
Vālmīki’s truth-speaking vocation as poet-seer, protected from falsehood in his epic utterance.
