चतुर्दश समास्सौम्य दण्डकारण्यमाश्रितः।उपभोक्ष्ये त्वहं दत्तं भागं पित्रा महात्मना।।।।

Transliteration

caturdaśa samāḥ saumya daṇḍakāraṇyam āśritaḥ |

upabhokṣye tv ahaṁ dattaṁ bhāgaṁ pitrā mahātmanā ||

Translation

O Sanftmütiger, vierzehn Jahre werde ich im Dandaka-Wald Zuflucht nehmen und den mir von meinem großherzigen Vater gegebenen Anteil erfüllen.
