Vision of Lake Pampā and the Turn toward Sugrīva
प्रणष्टमशुभं तत्तत्कल्याणं समुपस्थितम्।तेन तत्त्वेन हृष्टं मे मनो लक्ष्मण सम्प्रति।।3.75.5।।हृदये हि नरव्याघ्र शुभमाविर्भविष्यति।
praṇaṣṭam aśubhaṃ tat tat kalyāṇaṃ samupasthitam | tena tattvena hṛṣṭaṃ me mano lakṣmaṇa samprati || 3.75.5 ||
hṛdaye hi naravyāghra śubham āvirbhaviṣyati |
Das Unheil ist vergangen, und das Heilvolle ist herangetreten. Da ich dies als Wahrheit erkenne, ist mein Herz jetzt froh, o Lakshmana; ja, o Tiger unter den Menschen, bald wird das Gute aus dem Innern hervorbrechen.
O handsome one, we have seen this highly wonderful hermitage, where deer and tigers dwell together with mutual confidence, where birds of all kinds inhabit.
Dharma here is steadfastness grounded in truth (satya): reading events with faith, maintaining inner composure, and continuing righteous effort with hope rather than despair.
