खरवधः — The Slaying of Khara
Janasthana Battle Climax
ततो रामस्तु विजयी पूज्यमानो महर्षिभिः।प्रविवेशाश्रमं वीरो लक्ष्मणेनाभिपूजितः।।।।
tato rāmas tu vijayī pūjyamāno maharṣibhiḥ | praviveśāśramaṃ vīro lakṣmaṇenābhipūjitaḥ ||
Darauf trat der siegreiche Held Rāma, von den großen ṛṣis verehrt und von Lakṣmaṇa ehrfürchtig empfangen, in den Āśrama ein.
Then victorious Rama having been worshipped by the seers and also by Lakshmana entered the hermitage.
Honoring righteousness: those who protect dharma are worthy of reverence, and gratitude toward protectors is itself an ethical duty.
After victory, sages and Lakṣmaṇa pay respects to Rāma as he returns to the hermitage.
Rāma’s dharmic leadership (earning honor), and Lakṣmaṇa’s humility and devotion in acknowledging it.
