Student Conduct, Vedic Study, and Gāyatrī Supremacy

इमान्नित्यमनध्यायानधीयानो विवर्जयेत् । अध्यापनं च कुर्वाणोऽभ्यस्यन्नपि प्रयत्नतः

imānnityamanadhyāyānadhīyāno vivarjayet | adhyāpanaṃ ca kurvāṇo'bhyasyannapi prayatnataḥ

Wer im Veda-Studium steht, soll diese Zeiten des verpflichtenden Nichtrezitierens (anadhyāya) stets meiden; selbst wenn er lehrt oder mit großer Anstrengung übt, soll er sich dann enthalten.
