Puṣkara Tīrtha Māhātmya

ऋषिभिः क्रतवः प्रोक्ता देवेष्वपि यथाक्रमम् । फलं चैव यथातत्त्वं प्रेत्य चेह च सर्वशः

ṛṣibhiḥ kratavaḥ proktā deveṣvapi yathākramam | phalaṃ caiva yathātattvaṃ pretya ceha ca sarvaśaḥ

Die ṛṣis haben die Opferhandlungen (kratu) gelehrt und ebenso ihre Ordnung unter den Devas; und ihre Früchte werden ihrer wahren Natur gemäß erklärt—nach dem Tod wie auch hier in dieser Welt, in jeder Hinsicht.
