The Origin of the Lauhitya River

and the King of Tīrthas

पतिश्च वशगः कांते दयितस्ते भविष्यति । ततस्तं प्राह सा विप्रं वृद्धं कामप्रलालसम्

patiśca vaśagaḥ kāṃte dayitaste bhaviṣyati | tatastaṃ prāha sā vipraṃ vṛddhaṃ kāmapralālasam

„O Geliebte, dein Gatte wird dir ergeben und gehorsam sein.“ Daraufhin redete sie zu jenem Brāhmaṇa, einem Greis, der mit lüsternem Zureden sprach.
